Who is CoinPayments and why am I sending my crypto to them and not you?

CoinPayments is a third party cryptocurrency payment processor that we use to fulfill our client payment processing needs.

We are not a company that creates software to process payments, so we use other trusted services to fulfill this role for us. We also don't want to store user payment information on our own side and using third party platforms allows us to avoid that while still being able to process payments.
